Model QBR is
a belt drive centrifugal utility set designed for high efficiency and
low sound output. The QBR is ruggedly constructed to exacting quality
assurance standards and has a maximum operating temperature of 250°F.
Nine sizes are offered with performances up to 23,230 CFM and static
pressures to 3 ½". Quick, easy installation is possible either in
equipment rooms or on the roof to provide continuous, trouble free
operation. A compact medium duty fan, the QBR includes standard
equipment usually offered only as optional equipment at extra cost by
competitors.
The Acme QBR Ventset includes the following “extras” as
standard equipment:
-
An aluminum spark resistant impeller with true
airfoil blades for efficient, quiet operation.
-
duplex split pillow block bearing arrangement
specially designed by Acme for fan duty and offering extraordinary
bearing life. This bearing arrangement is covered by a 5-year
limited warranty.
-
An access door in the fan scroll to facilitate
inspection and maintenance. A baked-on finish of acrylic epoxy
which provides a more durable surface.
-
Adjustable pitch drives permitting approximately 30%
variation in fan performance without expensive motor or drive
changes.
-
Steel housing can be rotated in the field to any of
the seven fan discharge arrangements for either clockwise or counter
clockwise rotation.
-
Motor factory wired to convenient connection box
(except explosion resistant*) on fan housing. No need to remove
motor or drive to make field wiring connections.
-
Standard wiring complies with National Electric Code
and materials used are U.L. listed.
